History
Price, Utah, is full of history and adventure! From Coal Miners Memorials to Dinosaur Museums plan on spending your down time checking out some of our historical sites, such as the Bryner Pioneer Museum!
Price is noted as a mining town, as well as for its history as a religious and ethnically diverse community, very atypical for Utah. Greek, Italian, Eastern European, Mexican, Japanese and many other ethnic groups made up the population of the city and surrounding towns and communities as they came in to work for the railroads and coal mines. Price City truly is a land as diverse as its people!

Help Shape the Future of Downtown Price — Take Our Community Survey!
The Price City Downtown District is launching a community-wide survey to gather input from business owners, building owners, and community members — and your voice matters!
Downtown Price is a place where our history meets new opportunities — and now, we want your help to guide its future. The survey will help the Downtown District better understand the needs of local businesses, identify ways to fill vacant spaces, and gather ideas to make Main Street a vibrant, welcoming place for everyone.
“We know how important Main Street is to our community identity,” said Megan Marshall, Downtown District Director. “Whether you shop here, own a business, manage a building, or just love visiting, we want to hear from you. Your feedback will directly shape our planning for grants, events, marketing, beautification projects, and more.”
Survey responses will also help the Downtown District build a better communication network to inform businesses about upcoming events, grant opportunities, and resources — no spam, just useful information!
The survey takes just a few minutes to complete, and your input will make a lasting difference.
For more information about the Downtown District and ongoing efforts to revitalize Main Street, follow them on the Downtown District Facebook page.
Let’s build a Main Street we can all be proud of — together!
