Price City Awarded Utah Outdoor Recreation Grant for Rose Park Improvements
Price City has been awarded a Utah Outdoor Recreation Grant in the amount of $150,000 to support significant upgrades and improvements at Rose Park. The project represents a continued investment in community recreation opportunities and public spaces for residents and visitors alike.
The grant funding, provided through the State of Utah’s outdoor recreation program, requires a city match of $118,057. The city’s contribution includes $50,000 in cash funding and $68,057 in in-kind services and support.
The Rose Park improvement project will include:
“Rose Park is an important community gathering place, and these upgrades will provide lasting benefits for our residents,” said city officials. “We appreciate the State of Utah’s partnership and support in helping Price City continue improving recreational amenities and outdoor spaces.”
Construction timelines and additional project details will be announced as planning and implementation move forward.

- Installation of new playground equipment
- Upgrades to the park restrooms and pavilion
- Addition of a new walking trail
- New benches and picnic tables
